1. LEFTENAN ADNAN
The movie is about Adnan bin Saidi, a young Malay from Sungai Ramal in Kajang, Selangor who had joined the Malay Regiment of the British Colonial Forces just before the Second World War broke out in Asia. By the time the war broke out, he had been promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant, and was in command of Company C, 1st Battalion, Malay Regiment after the death of the British company commander, Captain H R Rix. His exploits and bravery in combat while leading his men against the Japanese Imperial Army became legendary.
2. SARJAN HASSAN
Sarjan Hassan or Sergeant Hassan is one of the film starring P. Ramlee. The film took place during the Japanese invasion of Malaya during the Second World War.
3. BUKIT KEPONG
Filem Bukit Kepong merupakan kisah yang diambil daripada kisah sebenar Serangan komunis di Bukit Kepong. Filem ini diarah oleh Jins Shamsuddin dan memenangi Filem Terbaik dalam Pesta Filem Malaysia ke-3, 1982. Ia diterbitkan oleh syarikat Jins Shamsudin Productions.
Cerita perjuangan pasukan polis dan masyarakat tempatan di Bukit Kepong, Johor melawan komunis pada tahun 1950. Kemuncak pertempuran berlaku pada 23 Februari di balai polis Bukit Kepong yang mempunyai 18 orang anggota. Filem ini menggambarkan semangat waja yang ditunjukkan oleh pasukan polis, walaupun mereka diserang oleh 180 orang pengganas komunis, tetapi mereka tetap berjuang hingga ke titisan darah yang terakhir untuk mempertahankan negara.
4. EMBUN
Embun ialah tajuk bagi sebuah filem Malaysia berunsurkan drama, peperangan dan romantis yang pernah ditayangkan di pawagam pada tahun 2002 (iaitu dibuka pada 1 Ogos, kebetulannya menjelang sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan negara ketika itu). Filem arahan Erma Fatima ini yang panjangnya 135 minit ini dibintangi Umie Aida, Aqasha, Hani Mohsin dan Izi Yahya dan diterbit oleh Filem Negara Malaysia. Dialog filem Embun berbahasa Melayu dan Jepun kerana berlatarkan zaman penjajahan Jepun di Tanah Melayu.
5. TANDA PUTERA
Tanda Putera merupakan sebuah filem yang menceritakan kisah menurut pendapat pengarah Suhaimi Baba mengenai persahabatan di antara Tun Abdul Razak dan Tun Dr. Ismail sejak tercetusnya peristiwa 13 Mei. Datin Paduka Shuhaimi Baba juga telah bertindak sebagai penerbit, pengarah dan penulis bagi filem ini. Filem ini juga membariskan pelakon seperti Rusdi Ramli, Zizan Nin, Faezah Elai dan Linda Hashim.

Pearl Harbor is a 2001 American epic war film directed by Michael Bay, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and written by Randall Wallace. It features a large ensemble cast, including Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Tom Sizemore, Jon Voight, Colm Feore and Alec Baldwin.
2. LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA
Letters from Iwo Jima (硫黄島からの手紙 Iōjima Kara no Tegami?) is a 2006 American war film directed and co-produced by Clint Eastwood, starring Ken Watanabe and Kazunari Ninomiya. In 2005, Japanese archaeologists explore tunnels on Iwo Jima, where they find some letters buried in the soil. The film portrays the Battle of Iwo Jima from the perspective of the Japanese soldiers and is a companion piece to Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers, which depicts the same battle from the American viewpoint; the two films were shot back to back.
3. THE LAST SAMURAI
The Last Samurai is a 2003 American epic war film directed and co-produced by Edward Zwick, who also co-wrote the screenplay with John Logan. The film stars Tom Cruise, who also co-produced, as well as Ken Watanabe, Shin Koyamada, Tony Goldwyn, Hiroyuki Sanada, Timothy Spall and Billy Connolly. The film's plot was inspired by the 1877 Satsuma Rebellion led by Saigō Takamori, and on the westernization of Japan by colonial powers, though this is largely attributed to the United States in the film for American audiences.
